No online application.  Have to call to apply.  $500 AF.  Same basic perks as Amex Platinum at significantly greater expense, except the lounge access is more limited.

Isn't this the one that used to be invitation only?

Re: Does any one have a Citi Chairman Card?

I was just trying to figure out how this card compares to other cards. I am not sure if it is equal to Amex Platinum or Amex BlackCard. Looks like this card is catered for very high networth investors of Smith Barney. Card also provides access to Private Jet and other specialized service. I wonder what is the qualifying requirements could be for this card.

You can get the card without having a Smith Barney account, but if you have a high-value account it seems you may be able to get your AF waived.  That's about it.

After reading a little bit about it, I discovered they originally had the idea of using this card to compete with Amex Black, but then gave up on that market segment and now it's more on the level of Amex Plat.

So you think one with Amex Platinum Credentials can get this card? I am not sure if it compares to Citi HH Card. I wonder if I should ask for a product change from Citi HH to this card. It looks some thing different from other cards. Do you think I should ask and see what they say about product change?

Just a hunch, but I think the Amex Platinum is probably easier to get than this card.  When I said this card is more like Amex Platinum than Amex Black I was referring more to spending levels than credit scores.

Concord, I originally tried to convert my Premier Pass to the Citi Platinum Amex and they wouldn't let me, so I don't think you could convert to the Chairman.

Chartered jet access eh? So if I up and wanted to go from Norfolk to Vegas I could call and arrange it?
