I've heard several people who didn't have the best score get approved for various chase cards, but had mentioned they have banked with them several years. It's been mentioned they like those relationships. I am an authorized user on a chase card that is 24 yrs old and has a 20k limit (and is always paid). Do you think that will make a difference if I applied for one of their cards? I have 639 EX, I don't know the others. I only have one card, Cap One card 3250k 15 months old but never late. My score is down because of a student loan (actually 2 loans I thought was 1) I had neglected for a year (before I understood fico scores). I have been paying it but less than a year. Was hoping being an authorized user on one of their cards would help. Thanks for any input!
