A little over a year ago I opened the chase amazon visa and freedom unlimited. SL for FU was $7,500 and SL for amazon was $6,500. A few months back I had them take $2,500 from my amazon and put it to the FU so the limits are now $10,000 on FU and $4,000 on the amazon. Chase hasn't given me an auto CLI so I am wondering if those are common? I always PIF so the limits are definitely sufficient for me at this time but I was just wondering.
They do but they seem to be rare, at least for me. I've had the Amazon prime visa for over 5 years now and it's been at the same 10k it started at. It's fine, I don't charge more than that, but it is one of my lowest limits.
What does chase typically like to see in order to get an auto CLI? Asking since applying for a CLI is a hard pull.
I've had Chase cards for 6 years, never been late, completely clean profile and they've never given me an Auto-CLI. If you want a CLI, you have to take the pull.
There are three or four threads in Approvals posted in the past couple days announcing auto-CLIs from Chase.

In my case, they just did as of 11/19/21. My Chase VISA Amazon Prime originally had a $5400 credit limit. I have never asked for a cli and have had the card since Oct. 2018. I checked my Vantage credit scores and it stated Chase increased my cl to $15,100. I double checked my account, and low and behold, it showed. To say I was shocked was an understatement. My FICO scores EQ 743, TU 764, and EX 760. I have a 5% aggregate utilization. I don't know if this made a difference with me, but I also just refinanced my condo w/Chase, and have always had a checking and savings acct. with them.

I have my checking and savings account with them as well as my mortgage that I got a little over a year ago.

Heavy and frequent usage are a few ot the things they tend to consider. How much on average are you putting on both of them? Some accounts have been known to go months if not years before they can see an auto-CLI. It really depends.
I received an auto CLI on my CFF about a year after opening it. My starting CL was $1800 and they raised it to $2800. I had very high spend on it relative to my CL, so that's probably why they raised it

They're not common, but they do happen. Lately there have been a number of reports in this forum of people getting auto CLI's on the Amazon Prime card.
From my experience, and what I've read, the best way to trigger an auto CLI is to use the card a lot.
