Does penfed allow splitting existing cl to a new card

If I have a $10k CL on penfed's cash rewards card and now would like to use one of their points reward card: can I ask them to split the $10k CL across both the cards?

Will the approval for the new (points reward) card be a new application (hence requiring a new HP) with a chance of being denied or does the request for splitting the CL across the cards essentially imply automatic approval (provided you split the CL already available to you)?

Essentially, what I am asking is if is you are automatically approved for the new card if you let them move over a part of the CL on your current card (to the newer card you are interested in)

They will allow this without a HP. You have to call and ask to do it tho. Good luck!
