Re: DoubleCash to Custom Cash

@M_Smart007  Yeah, I went above the CSR's yesterday and talked to a supervisor. Was told the same thing by them.  Said I could convert to a Rewards+, then there would be a 51-day wait for the conversion to finalize. Then, there would be no guarantee that the Rewards+ could then be converted to CustomCash.

Pretty much resigned myself to hold onto my Double Cash until I see some approval success for PC. So, when I saw this post I thought maybe there was a backdoor chance via Chat.  I just tried to get onto Chat and there are no representatives at this time of day....only the ChatBot. So I'll try the Chat tomorrow early and see what happens.

Re: DoubleCash to Custom Cash

I was able to PC one of my Rewards+ to a Custom Cash. Going to try to PC my wife’s DC to a Custom Cash and will chime back in if I have any success.

Re: DoubleCash to Custom Cash

A depressing little DP: I just checked Citi chat (3am on the 6th) and was told I could not PC my DC to a CC at this time. Good luck to anyone else.

Side note, I get a slightly different answer every time I ask. This time I was told I can only PC to a Rewards+, another time I was told I could PC to what seemed like everything but the CC, and another time the rep didn't even answer my question, he just said I'd have to call the CSR number.

Edit: My DC is 2.5 years old.

Re: DoubleCash to Custom Cash

Hmm so far no dc to cc. I'm assuming because it's the only other cash back card for Citi. Hopefully @Loquat  has good news for us later.

Re: DoubleCash to Custom Cash

I tried the chat and was a no. I had my DC ever since it was launched. Rep said to try again later in the month. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Re: DoubleCash to Custom Cash

This morning I chatted with a Citi representative and asked to convert my card to CC, I was told it is not an option for me. Anyone else had success? I really don't want to open a new account without history.

At this point, Citi seems to be saying a hard "NO" to Custom Cash PC's.

Re: DoubleCash to Custom Cash

I have accepted defeat on this dc to cc pc. Right now my dc is a good option for 2% on everything since apple is still not everywhere and my power cash has a transfer balance on it that I'm paying off. I'm fine.....for now.
