@Cashbackjunky How long have you got the dc card? I spoke to two people on the phone, maybe the second person is a conversion specialist. Don't give up.
@Yasselife I've had it for just over a year. Now that I'm looking into my statements though, it looks like my 12th statement hasn't cut (should have been around the 14th)... Maybe that's why the CSR's are saying I can't PC?
Still not sure why they would say it's against company policy - all 3 of them.
I'll keep an eye on my statements and keep trying and report back if/when I'm successful

@Cashbackjunky I read on myFico forums that You needed to have at least one year with the DC before You could convert. Let us know how it went on your next attempt.

Since you mentioned it's barely a year old, I would assume that when you applied the card had an introductory offer, such as 0% APR on purchases and/or BTs? Do you recall which one you had -- 12 months, 18 months? If so, in a variety of cases, it's not crossing the 12-month mark for some of their products, it also has to do with the introductory offers needing to expire before the system allows a conversion. Not always, but it seems to be the case in many instances.
Have you tried asking whether it can be PCd to another product? If the agent can confirm that it can be PCd to something else, then there would appear to be some specific product restriction in place. That's if the system provides the agent any other PC options (you don't have to go through those options other than check what's available).
Otherwise, all you can do is keep trying month to month to determine when the system might allow it to PC since plenty of folks are now able to convert their Double Cash without having to jump through as many hoops.
I found 2 pennies so I'm just giving them to you 👍
@FinStar I think there was an 18 month BT offer when I got the card but I didn't take advantage of it. $0 balance on the card at the moment. Would that BT offer hold me up even if I didn't take advantage of it?
Thanks!

Yes. Regardless if the offer was taken up or not, the product is coded with the offer until it expires. So, that could be a potential instance that may prevent the PC at the moment. Try testing things, for science, after your 12-month statement cuts. If the PC is still restricted, then that's likely one of the reasons.
Hopefully, once you cross the 18-month mark, it should allow it. If patience is not a virtue, and if ~6 more months seems like a far horizon, then perhaps applying for Custom Cash may be an option unless you don't want the ding for the new account and prefer to retain the history of the existing card.
