PC'd my SkyMiles Platinum back to the Blue. Also have the SkyMiles Reserve so many benefits, save the dining 2x miles, came with the Reserve. But this comes with Blue so I'm good there.
This is the first step to bringing a bit more order to my card lineup. I must admit, after I got my 2nd card which was the Skymiles Reserve(had Platinum at that point), I began to apply a bit more randomly chasing SUBs but not thinking about the long term benefits of each card and also, whether benefits clearly overlapped, not to mention, having several AF cards. Anyway, this is my first step in bringing a bit more logic to the lineup.
Congrats on your progress!

Thank you. I honestly got excited when I started applying for credit again in 2019 but never really thought much about a strategy card-wise. The only thing that made sense at the time was that I use Delta for work travel. But I plan to be more strategic, eliminate AF cards where appropriate and start making sense of the lineup.
I may downgrade from Delta Platinum to Delta Gold. Travel plans with other people change too often and the certificate is lost.
I can use the bag perk though.

I had considered GOLD but the Reserve and Blue will cover what I need. I just started to realize I was paying an exorbitant amount to Amex to be in their graces.
