I pay the day the bills come in through my banks online bill pay because I have SO MANY credit cards, if I didn't pay them right away, I would just get to overwhelmed and probably forget to pay a couple of them!

i remember paying my jc penney bill at the store.  or was it famous barr?  i can't remember, Smiley Tonguebut i remember paying at the store.  i haven't done that in awhile but why not if you're already out and about?

Just be sure to find out whether they're going to sit on the payment. JCPenney used to not credit instore payments right away, and people got burned if they were paying on or at the due date.

JCP's now credits right away, as I understand, but I'm always paranoid about some obscure policy delaying crediting your account.
