I wouldn't worry about USAA and inactivity. They let cards go by for years without usage and will keep them open. ![]()
Is your USAA card very old? I use to work in their cc dept. and the only time we saw the 6% interest were cards that were grandfathered in (my mom's is that way). I know they have that low apr card, but I thought it started at 9%.

I'd still go with Simmons (if there is still an interest). He's "tough" and "handsome" too! Although, he gives you more time without activity before he gets closed. Iberia, IMO (although a good bank), is kinda the "flaky" type. Go for the good and strong ones to make it worthwile ![]()
