Hi All,
I hope you can help me. Just found out I am going to need emergency surgery and I was going to start saving up for the time I was out on FMLA but the surgery has been pushed ahead so I need a way to pay my bills while I am out. I know I know I should always have a rainy day fund but is there a bank/CU that is easier to get a line of credit or personal loan than most. If it all possible, could you guys throw a few suggestions my way. I had just signed up for short term disability at my job but there is a rider and I cannot use it until 9 months after I add it on.
Thanks so much,
If those scores in the 760 range are current you should be able to go anywhere!, But top choices for me would be:
1. Navy
2. Alliant
3. How about a Citi card, the platinum had a BT for 22 months for a while if that's still available, you could write checks to yourself as needed.
1. Navy-not eligible
2.. Haven't tried Alliant
3. Citi-Actually decreased my credit limit bc they did a soft pull and my gas company started reporting payments and I was 30 days late 5 months ago and they immediately decreased by limit by $2500 so I haven't touched them again.
I know some people were mentioning Barclay's cc is offering a great deal but I don't know if it is only to current members or new members so I don't want to waste a pull.
Transuion is 700
Experian is 667 (according to Bank of America pull 9/28/2011)
