Ebay extras MC reward structure and offers!

i dont know if this change is permeanent or just a temporary offer but i thought of sharing it here

When i check their rewards site , they are offering 1 cent per point on some gift cards like subway ,starbucks  ,itunes ,bp, shell ,petsmart ,target ,walmart ,amc, cinemarks,cabelas etc etc

So starting at 1500 points you can redeem 15$ gift cards for some of these brands. Although it says offer is till march 31st 2017. But Dont know if like discover they keep renewing these offers? On feb 15th i got an email from synchrony about auto credit limit increase on my ebay mc and an offer of 1000 bonus points if i make 3 purchases before feb 28th.

I a m looking forward to them updating my rewards ! 3 points per dollar on gas and resturants is pretty cool too! If they keep 1 cent per point deal on giftcard redemption permeanently then thats a good incentive to use this card

I've had this card for a while and can say these are temporary. They always have a few brands of gift cards worth 1 cent per point EVERY month. And it had been that way since I first got the card, like 5 years or so ago. This is a card that I only have 300 points left on and am debating closing. I'm waiting to see about the 2% pilot program, because I'm glad to keep it for the 2% (even though I have a DC and a 1FBUSA that both give 2% back on everything). I have a Marvel card that gives 3% on dining and I don't see the need for a point expiring possibly 3% gas card. Especially since I am thinking about a BCP in the future.
