Engagement ring financing

So the other day, I pulled the trigger and bought an engagement ring, I financed $1500 of it (through synchrony/ge) and paid cash for the rest.

My question is, is the financing more of a loan or revolving credit? For example once I pay it off could I use that credit again for Christmas presents or a watch for my self.

Sorry if this post is in the wrong place or if this a dumb question ha

Re: Engagement ring financing

Where did you buy the ring? If something like Zales, I believe you would have a credit line once you pay off. Congrats though!

Re: Engagement ring financing

If you received a credit card as part of it, you can use the card for whatever you'd like at that store. There is probably an intro financing rate that will go away after a while, but for now, you're fine.

Congrats on the ring.. What store was it and did they go over what you were applying for?  If it is store credit card, then yes.  If it is VISA or MC version then it can used in store and outside the store to shop at other places...

Re: Engagement ring financing

I bought it from a local jeweler , it is there only store, I went through what the payments would be and the 12 month no interest, but honestly was more focused on the ring then the credit details at the time, I supposed the easiest answer would be to ask when I pick up the ring next week.
