@bustinloose82 The CSP would go great with your Chase Freedom Unlimited. You can combine your Ultimate Reward Points together.
A stand alone Venture Card is pretty nice as well. You can erase any travel expense including cruises without using a portal.
Can't go wrong with either card.
What do you mean a portal?

Made the leap:
You have been approved for the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card. You will receive your new card, a paper copy of your Cardmember Agreement and other important disclosures in 3 to 5 business days.
Your credit line is $17,600.00
Your purchase APR is 15.99% variable
@bustinloose82 For the CSP, you can use the Chase Ultimate Reward portal to book travel and each UR point is worth 1.25X in value.
@bustinloose82 Congrats on your CSP approval and sweet SL! You got the lowest APR for the card as well.

Thank you!!! You made a good point about my other Chase accounts. I looked at my Chase account and noticed I had about 20,000 points, so this will be a nice add to that. Plus, I know Chase is very strict about the 5/24 rule, so I figured I can apply for Venture in a few months.
Langley FCU pulls EQ8 for their cards. low APR with a 0% BT offer for 12 months.
AOD and DCU pull EQ5
I'm familiar with Langley FCU. Do you live in Virginia? I grew up around Langley AFB.

Super Congrats on your CSP $16,700 approval!
I concur with @Mv350 regarding Langley FCU. If you're still in the
market for another card that requires an EQ8 hard pull, I recommend
you give Langley serious consideration. I do live in Virginia, but Langley
membership is open to all. And to be clear, membership is a ChexSystems
pull but Langley's loan products will be an EQ8 hard pull good for 30 days.
Just over a week ago Langley approved me for their low interest card
(Platinum Select VISA) for 5k at 11% with an EQ8 691 approval score.
Rates range from 7 - 18%, so with an EQ8 760 the odds of you getting
7% are pretty good. In addition, 100% of the credit limit is available for
cash advances. Langley's personal loan rates start at 9%, so actually
you'd be better off getting a credit card (7%) than a personal loan (9%).
Your CSP is a terrific card, but no way Chase will grant you 100% limit access
for a cash advance, much less at the same APR. Just something to think
about. Congrats again on your approval!

No I'm not, but I just joined and I am currently waiting a reply for the card. I guess when I submitted my app, I did not select which card I wanted? weird. But when I called in, a very helpful CSR corrected my app and let me know someone will reach out. From what I have read, they are very friendly. When I applied my EQ8 was 714. I will update when I hear back though. Maybe tomorrow?
