So 4 months ago I requested an increase on my $500 Express card and it was declined reason being in their letter that "they want to see a consistent payment pattern with the existing limit before granting additional credit". At that time I had only made one $31 purchase when I first got the account last May and nothing more. So a few weeks ago, I made a $26 purchase and went online last night to pay it off. Decided to try again and boom...$300 increase. YAY!
So I guess two purchases both paid in full qualify for a "consistent payment pattern" with them. LOL!
CONGRATS!!!
Yea thats hilarious 2 payments is "consistant" lol

I hate you...lol.
I've been buying/PIF on my Express card twice a month since December (with one month at zero balance) and I haven't gotten squat on CLI.
On the other hand, my J. Crew card got another $200 increase...and I've only used it three or four times since I got it in February. (I got the first CLI through the button in April)
GE is much better at CLIs than CB.

I might pull the trigger on a GE card later this year when a couple more negatives fall off of TU. I figure when my negs get to half a page on my printed report, I might be okay. lol

Sometimes I don't understand the rhyme or reason for Comenity's increases. When I was initially denied for my Express increase in January, I had also requested an increase for my Pier 1 card on the same day. Approved with a $500 increase and I had only made one paid in full purchase on there also and had the card for less time than the express.
Thanks everyone!
