Express Credit Card

Made a purchase on this card back in June and I never received the package. I called express and they stated that since they gave me a refund a few years ago (way before I had this credit card) that I would have call Comenity. So I played cat and mouse for a while and finally gave up since I was not getting anywhere. The order was a total of $396. Keep in mind my limit is only $500 so this high balance was being reported every month. I disputed this and they still wouldn't budge even when I handwritten a dispute to their decision. I finally made a complaint with CFPB on 9/3 and they forwarded my complaint to FDIC the same day. Fast forward to today..I received an email from Express stating that my account was credit back for the full amount. God is good 👏 so shady how they tried to play me!

Has this happened to anyone else before?

Wow! Sorry that happened to you, but I'm glad that everything worked out for you.

Just for information: Not sure how the package was to be delivered to you, but I've set up accounts with UPS and FedEx to alert me when I have items being shipped to me. If I know I'm not going to be home, I usually have them held at one of their pick-up sites until I'm able to retrieve them. Helps to prevent theft since some vendors don't require signatures upon delivery.
