No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
Yeah. I think your right. I apped for 3 cards like 9 months ago when I got FNBO (3 cards in total). I guess it caught up to me. Lol.
plus the 26% utilization. I do want to add I haven't apped for anything since (no hp credit limit increases either - all SP). So my INQ stayed the same as well. No more than 2 across the board - no specific order.
I learned my lesson no more than 1 Card a year or 2 for me now.

Well, card is still open, though maybe not as useful as before, but it will grow again.
Having utilization at 26% may or may not be a big deal depending on raw amounts. So if your total CL is $100K, it's a big deal to those lenders who don't play percentage game but instead look at raw dollar amounts. Higher the total limits, worse it gets.
Also, if one has smaller debt but debt is significant in relation to income, same thing
Then, there are a few still left (FNBO) being one of them that pay attention to the scores when they start declining.
So, 30 points loss may not be sky-fall event, but when caused by increase in utilization, to FNBO is sky-fall event.
Best you can do for right now is to do nothing and that includes CLI requests.
Let your CR cool down, keep paying cards down, and keep in mind this isn't just FNBO thing.
Don't let one instance of AA cascade into something you don't want.
