I have a few weeks to apply for a card because I plan to max out a card, and I want a card that pulls EQ. I have 2 accounts from this year (2022, 03 and 2022, 04), but I opened over 10 cards last year. Between FNBO and Wells Fargo, which is more likely to approve me? I only want a card that pulls EQ.
FICO score EQ: ~780, similar at other berues.
I'm pretty sure FNBO primarily pulls from Experian.
Neither likes too many new accounts opened . I would try the FNBO prequalify but it's not always a guarantee though .
as mentioned neither lender likes a ton of new accounts and also as echoed fnbo pulls experion and well fargo can pull anyone.
The Citizens 1.8% card is the answer if you want an EQ pull. Both FNBO and WF have pulled EX in the past for me.

citizens is or use to be new account sensative whether they are currently I have no clue.. Been denied once due to amount of new accounts a few years back
WF can pull a single CRA out of three, or combo of two. WF is unpredictable in terms of approval chances, with some profiles they fuss about everything, with others - not at all.
Utilization wise, they don't like it too high or too low during application process.
FNBO is sensitive to new accounts but also to high utilization
Applying for a card, then surprising them on first pull with maxed out card is not a good plan. FNBO will shut down cards in a heartbeat if they don't like what they see.
You also have short credit history (3 years is nothing in credit-time) so I wouldn't be maxing any cards.
As you all said, I was wrong about FNBO pulling EQ. I thought i had HPs from them on EQ, but i just looked back at my report and I was wrong. Thanks everyone for the info.
My two cents even though I have a low opinion of wells due to their opening up fake accounts. I ran into an issue recently with Fnbo where the autopay stopped working and I wasn't aware of it even though it had worked previously so if you don't like being tagged for non payment watch out
If you are in the southeast US footprint, Synovus is known to be an EQ puller. They have a couple of decent cards and their rewards are set up exactly like the old BBVA rewards, and not extremely sensitive from my understanding.
