Just curious of course...
Got the three GECRB cards I was approved for today and am so looking forward to seeing these grow. Was curious as to what was the fastest upgrade time to Discover/Visa...a year would be good but of course, faster is better!
So far Ive seen that the TJMAXX card tends to upgrade to the MC more quickly than AE, ON and Wal-Mart CCs, some get the upgrade at their 1 year anniversary but YMMV.

It really just depends. Some people get them quickly and some people never get their cards upgraded. You always have the option to reapply for the card to see if you can get the co-branded card if the upgrade doesn't come fast enough for you.
I guess the major question is if there's a certain way I should be managing the accounts in order to get flagged for the upgrade faster or at all???

From what I read, there doesn't seem any discernible method. There are members with higher scores, larger TLs and are till waiting for an upgrade. Tbh, I wouldn't be surprised if they through darts at acct numbers.
+1
LMAO@ Lexie... darts... lol
OP - there is no method to speed up the process for a GECRB upgrade. Account selection and elegibility depends on a lot of factors determined by each brand as managed by GECRB. Optimal methods that will likely improve your odds are (a) low utilization profile, (b) positive account history/usage, (c) healthy score and CR file - which includes not opening several new TLs or high # of inquiries.
