Fidelity Amex conversion to US Bank

Current online rumors point to grandfathered Fidelity FIA Amex/Visa being switched to the new US Bank cards. Any thoughts on how this would work, or how to best work it to our advantage?

If you look on the Fidelity site the FAQ states that all current AmEx cards will be converted to Visa Signature cards with the placement (new) Visa cards being sent out in June and July - I seem to remember that the drop dead date for everyone having their new Visa card is July 22nd.

Add:  We are updating our credit card program to provide the best value and customer service to our cardmembers. With this new program, you will receive an Elan Financial Services®-issued Fidelity® Visa Signature® card between mid-June and mid-July. This will replace your current Fidelity American Express®, MasterCard® or Visa® credit card(s) by July 22nd. All new credit cards will be part of the Visa® network, offering you the opportunity to enjoy Visa Signature® benefits.
