Just received a pop up message from Fidelity last night that my Debit card will be replaced and is now a NFTF card. About time Fidelity made it official. I had suggested they do this a while ago, ever since their CC went to NFTF status. Will be nice for overseas bank withdrawels for cash on hand. Which is still necessary but becoming far less so, as it is here.

off of Reddit by Fidelity Customer Rep for those wondering if you need the new debit card, answer no, Since August 16th all debit cards are free of FTF's.

I read about this, good to see a positive change. They also got a new design for the card which is pretty good looking IMO.

There are different types of Fidelity Debit cards, e.g. one linked to a Cash Management account, others to investment accounts. Which one(s) have gone no FTF?
Pretty sure it's on both the cash management and brokerage debit cards. I only have the CM as I don't want a debit card linked up to my brokerage funds, in case I get held at gunpoint at a foreign atm and they say "empty it out boi!!"
