Be sure to ask for an APR reduction in 6 months... they reduced my APR on my cash Rewards cards
Will do!
Figured the 16.9% on the NavChek is pretty average isn't it? But i'll definitely check out a reduction on my cashRewards card in the next 3mths.
Mine is at 14.9% and my cash rewards is at 12.65%
I don't know how low they go, but I'm planning to ask for another reduction on cash rewards in June / July.
I got my reduction last year... I sent in a message asking to be upgraded to Visa Siggy, and they did the upgrade and lowered my APR at the same time... how's that for service... They are getting my business from now on.
There are other Financial institutions that have better lower APR and give great credit limits and great customer service but as a package I don't think anybody beats NFCU. Just my 2 cents.

+1000
Just a heads up--I asked for apr reduction twice on my visa platnium which I have had for 7 months at 16.9--they said their policey is no apr reductions on any card until 1 year old.
Didn't want to start a new thread....
When should this start reporting??
I was under the impression it reports just like a CC?
It reports just like a credit card.
I don't quite remember how long it took mine to report. Seems like it takes about 4-6 weeks though. It is slow to report, like their loan products.

Did you ask via the secured message center? I know for a fact that my APR reduced from 14.9% down to 12.65% when I asked for Siggy upgrade when my card was 6 months old.
