Finally Cap1 EO Call***

I decided to reach out to Cap1 EO regarding another CLI after my credit steps kicked in. First card went from $300 to $2300 (more than happy with this one) and second card went from $300 to $500 as promised. I figured I could try EO for an increase on the second to either match the first or come close. I sent the email a week before Christmas and they finally called me back last night. I thought my email was lost. Anyways, she was very nice, asked a few questions and said the decision would be made in 3-5 days. Please keep your fingers crossed for me. What are the chances I'll actually receive another CLI?

Re: Finally Cap1 EO Call***

They do have annual fees. I had both waived for the first year but would like to have them waived for good. As soon as I hear back from them, I will ask for the annual fees to be removed from both cards. I would be happy with $1400... that's better than $500.

Re: Finally Cap1 EO Call***

Thanks! $1250 would also be fine! As soon as I had the large increase on my first card, I started using it like crazy and just made a very large payment to show them I am responsible and can handle the new line. I'm hoping they will take that into consideration for the second card.

Re: Finally Cap1 EO Call***

I've had good success with my CapOne cards...

$1000 > $1500 > $2000 > $4000.  The only time I had to use the EO was the 1 year increase from $1500 to $2000.

My other card went $500 > $750 > $2750.

All my increases were every 6 months... the first on each card were auto credit steps... all the rest other than the one EO were luv button.

Re: Finally Cap1 EO Call***

I'm hoping they increase it to match my other line. I love Cap1 so far and haven't had any problems. There CS is not the best but I guess that's what EO is for. Although it would be nice to call them up and get an instant decision or resolution instead of having to have someone reach out to you and then wait an additional 3-5 days.

Re: Finally Cap1 EO Call***

I got them on the phone the same day, underwriters don't answer the phone. Everyone has to wait the 3 to 5 days. But if you don't get an email rather quick (or letter), then you should receive what you ask for.

Though personally, the only other quicksilver I would go for is the visa one. Which I might do if they don't PC this card.

Re: Finally Cap1 EO Call***

I don't mind the 3-5 day wait but this in addition to the email that was sent over 2 weeks ago. My point is that I wish the front line CSR'S could do more. They really can't process any requests and then they can't just transfer you to someone who can help like other companies can.

Could you please send me the email address to reach the EO?
