@Got this pre-approval letter today. Prime rate @3.25% permanently. No rewards, annual fee of $89.00. Seems like a great card to keep a balance on. I think this even beats Iberia Bank's best rate. Tempting..... thoughts?
A review (negative) of how the AF and the high BT fee impact the attractiveness

The AF kindof takes the "free" out of the appeal of the free EX FICO also. Credit Unions are a great place to look for low APR cards if you need to carry a balance.

It is the prime rate, so is variable, The 3.25% is just the current value.
I wouldn't do it, but it does seem tempting - that's a really low rate. You could contribute more to your 401k/investments instead of paying your card in full and would probably profit.
