So last month i paid my minimum due to First Premier, it was $30. Today i login to pay a early payment for next month, HA, i think not now, i paid the $30 and to login and see that they only credited $16 of the $30, the rest was taken for monthly interest. I think not! Called my credit union immdieately had them mail out a check to FP will be there in 2 days to pay it off, and my Credit union Interest rate is 10.99% with ZERO balance transfer fees.
Thank the lord i am canceling that card now, and i only had it because i needed the availible credit then, not now!
FORGET YOU FIRST PREMIER I AM GONE FROM YOUR CARD FOREVER!
Although, FP was the only card i had with a chip in it... That didn't work.... lmao
GOOD DAY!

I wouldn't touch that card. I thought about it instead of secured card, but their and Credit One's practices seem a little fishy. 10 months in and don't have too many complaints about secured cards versus the predatory lenders.
Its sad on how some of those lenders prey upon people with hidden fees and such. I forget if its credit one or FP but the cli fee? and other hidden fees is ridiculous, or get away with the high APR. ![]()

I think it's both isn't it?
i used to have one...it did its job. i got delinquent but paid it all back.. i recently submitted an investigation through TU because they made an error on my reports. They deleted the tradeline on all my reports (thank God), otherwise It would have been delinquent for another two years (yikes). But come December my reports will be spick and span!
Sidenote: I got my mail today and one of the guys who lives in my building got a letter from FPB saying statement enclosed. I chuckled and said "That used to be me..."
I cant believe i fell for their game so many years ago.
I finally got the rediculous pre-approval letter today for the first time in nearly a decade. $700 credit line. $159 annual fee, some sort of monthly fee + 39% interest. I'm of course smarter now and would never fall for one of their offers.

Congrats on moving on from them. The CU card is definitely a big step up.

Definitely Credit One. They charged me 10% of the increase. So my $250 increase costed me $24.95. Bull**bleep** I say!
