So (and long overdue) finally getting around to cancelling my First Premier account...
Poking around their site, found an interesting link at the bottom... "Current Credit Card Agreements". Clicked and the page says "Offers Currently Available". Did you know First Premier offers a card at 16.9% and no annual fee?? You can see it here: https://www.mypremiercreditcard.com/Content/images/offers/FR035835354_Agreement_1.pdf
Seeing that was the last push I needed to cancel my account.
Why they wouldn't reward long time customers with better rates and decent terms is beyond me. They are obviously offering them to someone. Rep on the phone, was trying to tell me " according to myfico Credit Age accounts for 15%, offering credits, when I brought up the link and she suddenly had a stuttering issue.
FYI, the worst terms they offer are: 36% APR, $55 program fee, $79 annual fee, $10.40 monthly fee...

Good job closing it out!
I don't need to say much more but these are bad terms. Get a secured card and you will have better rates. "36% APR, $55 program fee, $79 annual fee, $10.40 monthly fee" ![]()
