I cringed when I first started reading your post. I'm so glad didn't take it. I don't recall ever hearing of them. If I ever did receive anything from them, I'm sure I promply tossed it and forgot it.
I have been bombarded by their offers. I assumed they were like Credit One or First Premier. I did not take them up on their offer. Glad to hear they aren't too slimey.
i've got two and a blaze (same terms limit and annual fee lol) since last week. I opened an Amex and BofA BBR card w higher limits and no annual fees lol.
shredded their offers btw

My scores aren't high enough yet so I'm still prey to the predatory lenders I guess. It's cool though I know that I'm headed in the right direction so I definitely won't take any crappy offers.
If the scores in your sig are accurate, you should be able to get some starter CapitalOne or MAYBE even a Barclay Rewards. Use the CapitalOne and Barclay pre-approval tool and see if you qualify for anything before you apply... but unless you have a lot of recent baddies, my money is on you getting at least one from the above banks. Why is your EQ so much lower than the other two?
First Savings bank is a good rebuilder card... Better than CreditOne or First Premier by far. If you pay in full, the APR doesn't matter. But the annual fee is a bit steep.
But not as steep as a First Premier or CreditOne that bill you a month access fee on TOP of the annual fee!
