Had no credit history, just paid first statement on CAP 1 secured card and EQUIFAX lit up with my first credit score, the # of the beast 666. Hope its not a bad omen. Does anybody know when TU & EX will show first score? At last!

Where did you get that score from? For FICO scoring criteria, you need to have a tradeline for at least 6 months before your scores can be generated, so if you get that after your 1st statement without any credit history, it's likely a FAKO score, which none of the creditors uses.
Yes, its FAKO from credit karma. Question: When someone does a HP will they see the credit cards I already have, or will it be still be blank for six months?

They'll see what you have on your credit file with either HP or SP, so if your card has already been reported, they will see it.

Just pay your balance in full and have a 1% util rate, your scores will be in 720-740 range after 6 months ![]()

I really thought it would be more difficult.and it would take longer. Thanks for the tip.
From no history to first TU FICO score, I got 731 with only 2 cards for 6 months. DW got 720 with 2 cards for 6 months and 2 more for less than 2 months.

I suppose those of us with zero credit history get those scores so fast because even though we had no history, now that we do, it is squeaky clean. Lets keep it that way. Thanks!

Yes, I didn't know and was not expecting a 700+ score. Now our scores are over 740 and we kept getting couple of cards every now and then. We want lower APR and higher limits, we can't handle 20+ cards. I don't expect to have more than 10 cards reporting (open/close) in 2 years.
I was worried when my DW's score took a dip after she got several pulls/cards in one month, 33 points less (Discover TU FICO), the next month the score climbed 20 points, then 11 points. So for us with low AAoA and thin file we can big ups and downs. Just don't worry about it.
We always pay 3 days before due date or statement cut, to make sure everything is ok.
