Hi all,

I was just curious how many here on the forum are in the FlexPoint ecosystem. K-in-Boston and I have talked about USBank’s cards that earn FlexPoints, and I was curious how others valued them vs UR, MR, and TYP.

I frequently access the points guy website and they update monthly all their estimated calculations for points value.  It's a pretty good and easy guideline.  For October, the estimation is

U.S. Bank FlexPerks ....... 1.5 ccp

AMEX MRs ......................2.0 ccp

Chase URs ......................2.0 ccp

Citi TYs ...........................1.7 ccp

Diners Club Rewards .........2.1 ccp

You can also look up the major airline and hotel chain programs. 

For example, Hyatt is worth 1.7 ccp, Marriott 0.8 ccp, Hilton 0.6 ccp, and IHG 0.5 ccp.

FlexPerks are a fixed value point currency.

They are always worth 1.5CPP when used for travel (RTR or portal).

One can manage easily to redeem them for 1cpp through Real Time Rewards, by activating categories like groceries at a relatively low dollar value. A good way to waste points

Best to narrow RTR to hotels, airlines and rental cars.
