So, I finally had the "last straw" moment with Crap One. I decided that since I'm in the credit garden I might as well yank that awful weed. I don't have the words to describe how much I despise that company.
It's not my oldest card, it won't affect my utility at all-- the card limit was $500 on one of their 'never-gonna-get-an-increase' cards, and I now have a little over $30k in available credit lines, and no balances whatsoever. One less card I'll have to manage, check on, and utilize to keep it active.
And then there were six (credit & charge cards)...
