I was able to get 76 Gas card after 6 months but I have been declined for every other GE card I have applied for so far but I am just coming up on 1 year in July/Aug but I am in the garden but kind of thinking 1 year might be the key for many of the ge... however the 76 was not a card that I had previously either.

Several have stated that they like to see other existing tradelines before they'll approve.

It's always a ymmv thing. I was approved for 5 GE cards, 4 months after my BK7, and I burned them pretty good too, plus got back the same cards I filed on pretty forgiving to me at least.

Crazy!  I still cant get approved for anything GE 4 years post BK7.

I think not depends on your whole credit profile too! I have a very thick one with lots of closed accounts in good standing prior to my bk, and I also used the heck out of my GE cards for several years prior too! I don't know... Keep trying!!!

Another/other credit card(s) reporting as positive.  Basically, it seems that they don't want to be the first to approve you.
