I got approved just over a week ago but it didn't tell me limit or anything, I called activated, then called and asked for underwriting so I could reconsider $300 approval... I got transferred to US and I said I would like a manual review for CLI. She tells me she does not do that and that's what she told the rep and that rep would have been the one to get the cli for me. Well no I was looking for underwriting to manually review and that lady was in Asia and can't do anything but push the button for CLI which it won't do on new apps.
She tells me again she does not review credit and issue CL's.... Say What?
So per my past experience with GE, I started to ask her what her job was if she doesn't review credit apps... "Well I do review but I don't set limits!"!
SAY WHAT, So is TJMaxx card different then say Lowes or CareCredit because they will review within 48-72 hours for CLI.
She said they don't
I said they do and asked for her manager since she doesn't seem to understand.
We went around a few more times and I said I just don't understand why I have not been sent to manager yet since you keep saying the same thing and I keep asking...
She of course hung up on me!
Does GE monitor how many calls get hung up on every day!!!
LOL.. Sounds like my fiasco trying to pay care credit this week.. Online account was frozen, they told me I needed to create a new acccount to access my e-statement. Of course, need a number off the statement to activate new online account. Of course can't access my statement without creating a new account. Can't get a customer service associate to understand WHY tha'ts a problem. Took several attempts to finally make a payment over the phone because automated system kept cutting out when I was entering checking numbers. Next time I'll let hubby handle that one himself.
I had forgotten just how bad their customer service was. I like their products, too bad their customer service is awful.
