Util. is a big big factor in getting GE CLI's. I would say below 9% is perfect.
So are unicorns, winning lottery tickets, and free beer.
The odds of me seeing any of those in the next 12 months are about even.

I agree. I'm usually using about 30-40% of my Amazon limit, & just recently when I got my Walmart CLI, I was pushing 80%. So I'm with you on the unicorns There's just no telling with any creditors anymore.
Your're not the only one
My wife and I have about half the accounts you do....
Walmart, Amazon, JCPenney, and can't get get CLI on any of them..... I don't even try every four months any more. My wife had JCP for 5 months, gets an auto CLI from 200 to 1000......I've had mine almost 18 months, still stuck at 200.
No lates on anything for more than 2 years but utilization's high for both of us and I have a few negative accounts due to drop off my CR by next summer. Once the negatives drop off and my util drops, I expect to see some luv

Not to be a wet blanket, but the baddies dropping off probably won't help you much...I've got crystal clean reports on all three...no lates, no CO's, no CA's...nothing.
My util is still high, and I still get no luv from GE.

My util sucks. Both with them, and across the board in general.
I am changing how many dollars we send to which cards this month, in order to get DW's total utilization under 50%, AND make sure that no one card is over 80%.
(Currently, she has a few that are maxed, a few at zero, and a few in the middle...)
My thoughts are that getting her total utilization under 50% should improve her FICO score.
Making sure that ZERO of her accounts are at or over 80% should improve her FICO score.
I'm not sure how long I'll be able to maintain BOTH of those, but there should be a point in time, early in June, that both will be true, and reported to all three CRA's at the same time.
In other news, her fourth statement on her Walmart card will cut on about May 26th.
Her fourth statement on her PayPal card will cut on or about June 5th.
We'll ask for CLI's on both of them, if they don't appear automatically.
Right?
I guess i am alarmed by this statement and a few others. I understand the desire for an incresed credit limit, but why would you want to increase your ability to accrue debt when you struggle to handle what you already have? How about taking 6 months to focus on cutting that util. By then neither you or the banks will be as stressed about the CLI. As you know there is only 2 ways to cut util, one by you and one by the banks, I have had zero luck relying on the banks for this. Good Luck.
I do not see where OP is struggling to handle the ones they have, it more like balancing everything out it sound like
All my GE CLIs occur while carrying a balance...usually a high balance. All the non-used cards get 0 CLIs. They definitely like to see usage at a high level (YMMV).

Same for me!

But that's so backwards! I've run thousands and PIF the last few months only to be rejected for a CLI.
I officially give up trying to figure it out --- yesterday, two days after my post above, I checked DW's JCP account.....another automatic CLI only two months after the last one.... 800 in March and 600 in May.......and nothing changed significantly during that time on either of our CR's. Yeah, I'm still at 200.....Congrats to the wife, but ......
