GM FLEX CARD

HAS ANYONE GOTTEN THIS CARD?  i just got in mail-- 0% int til 11/08--no fee-- triple earnings against purchase of gm vehicle, etc.  not pre-approved.  it is HSBC. i just closed orchard and getting credit limit from household takes an act of congress.

Hi Annie,

No, I haven't heard of them, but Househould (HSBC) not giving you a CLI is not - in my experience an indication that you will be approved for a different card.

I currently have a Househould card which I have never been late on and decided to ask for a CLI of $2500 (CL is at $5500).  I was declined within minutes on the computer and then received a letter a few days letter confirming that denial.  However, within an hour of two of being declined for a CLI, I apped online for an HSBC cash or fly rewards card and was instantly approved for $6k - go figure these guys out.

I don't know what your scores are which, of course, is important, but if they are decent don't let the CLI decline stop you from applying.

I have the card. They pulled EQ in IL. It's an ok card. I use it for balance transfers.
