Please advise if I am in the wrong section.  And if someone already posted this, I'm sorry; I tried to search before posting.

Edit: Found an article:

I received a letter today from my GM Rewards card, dated 4/16 received 4/26, as follows:

Hello [Firstname],

We appreciate your loyalty as a GM Credit Cardmember and want to share some important updates about GM credit cards.

GM credit card accounts will transfer from Goldman Sachs Bank USA to Barclays Bank Delaware in the coming months.
For now, you can keep using your card as you normally would.  Marcus by Goldman Sachs will continue to service credit card accounts until the transfer to Barclays is complete.

GM and Barclays will share additional details about this credit card transition along with other updates in the coming months.

To access your account online, visit marcus.com .

Thank you for your business.

Sincerely,

Goldman Sachs Bank USA

Re: GM Rewards Card transitioning from Goldman Sachs to Barclays

Expect to have CLs slashed in half. I stopped using my card a while after the pts could not be converted to cash for statement balances . Had a terrible experience with the Barclays choice card, was happy when Wells took over.

Re: GM Rewards Card transitioning from Goldman Sachs to Barclays

I appreciate the heads-up.

Was vaguely hoping that after transition, it might be easier to redeem for statement credit.

Now I'm scared about the possibility of a credit limit decrease.

Thanks again; I'll gird my loins.
