So this is Exciting?! LOL They are updating their card and I gotta say I love the new look. Just wanted to share for my Ga Peeps XD

Georgia’s Own is excited to offer contactless credit cards! Your new card will be arriving in August. Thanks to the touch-free payment option, contactless cards are safer to use, plus they offer a faster, easier, and more secure way to pay. Similar to a chip card, each contactless transaction generates a secure, one-time code that protects your payment information—simply tap and go.
Your Georgia's Own Visa® contactless card will have a new design and enhanced card controls and alerts to help manage fraud, including the ability to lock your card in the event that it becomes lost or stolen. These features will be available in the Georgia’s Own Card Manager app. Additionally, any joint card owners will have a unique card number. While the cards will still be joint, if one card needs to be replaced, it will not affect the ability to use the other card.
Your accrued Flex Rewards*, along with your current rate, will not change, and your card will be compatible with Apple Pay®, Samsung Pay®, Google Pay™, Fitbit Pay™, LG Pay®, and Visa® SRC. Rewards cardholders* will enjoy added features, such as Porch Piracy, Roadside Dispatch, and Buyer’s Protection. You can continue to enjoy Travel and Emergency Assistance, Trip Cancellation/Interruption, Purchase Security, and Extended Warranty Protection.
To make the process seamless, we ask that you check to make sure that the Credit Union has your current contact information, including mailing address and phone number, on file. The last two months of your card history will transfer. However, to ensure that you have a complete record of your card history, we strongly encourage you to sign up for credit card eStatements prior to July 31st and download any previous statement information that you may need .
-----Look at them growing up

That is sweet looking for sure
. Enough for @GApeachy to make me some Peach Cobbler?![]()
Lol i honestly didnt expect it to actually be called Georgia's Own haha☺
@AverageJoesCredit LMAO yup yup XD

@1GaDawg85 I'm not sure on business side of the fence, but I did lower my Car loan with them down to 3. whatever my siggy says LOL. One thing I love about them is for my CC I can withdrawal/use the FULL limit not a 20 or 30% of it like a lot of others. This is the main reason I love/use them as much as I do. I wish I would have known more about CLI but I do look forward to growing it (I believe the lady said max is 30k for CC) again not sure on business side....Sorry if I'm taking it to literal lol.

I swear I need to bake you a pie and ship it to you @AverageJoesCredit
@Girlzilla88 That card looks too good! Do they have a prequal? Where are they? (in GA) Got any dp's to share while you're at it? Thanks!!
They do a HP for membership, presumably you can use that when applying for a credit card. (I wanted to join just for an IRA CD, and an HP for that wasn't compelling)
@GApeachy If you are baking pies I do humbly request I be included XD I have this card already it's in my Siggy it is just getting a GREAT facelift LOL (I liked it before but this looks so nice) I'm not sure if they offer a Prequal. When I got that card (I upgraded it from a Secured to the Unsecured a few years back and I did so in branch. But I do know my scores were all above 700 when I switched it from at the time was 2 or 300 to the 500 I have now (which is also when I switched my Car Loan over to them to lower the APR while I was at it LOL) if you want I can see if I can find which CB they pulled to help?!
I really do need to ask them about another CLI I thought I had to wait over a year back then but now I have other ducks in a row I'm trying to catch first (no kill zone) XD

@GApeachy They pulled my EQ when I did the Upgrade
Unfortunately I can't go back to when I opened my account back in April 2017 (I didn't start noticing/working on my credit until early 2018)
