I was approved for the Gander Mountain store card. Commenity loves me but they always start me with a store card. My question is can you use the store card to make online purchases? I keep getting conflicting information from their customer service and employees in the stores.
do you have the card? if so, try it out. I cant imagine why you couldnt use it online?? I know Comenity recently took over Sports Authority and that card cant be used online yet.
Gander Mountain has been around for awhile, it would be so silly if you couldnt use the card online.
It's not a MC?
GanderMountain offers a store card if you dont qualify for the MC. Overtons has a MasterCard only that can be obtained through SCT and they are a sister store to GanderMountain.

Understood, I know a few folks with that card. I am a frequent shopper of GM and have never seen anyone pull out a GM store card when paying.
Yeah with all Commenity cards for some reason they approve me for the store card first then after one or two pmts I get the mc version. Makes no sense but thats how they do things. I dont have the card in hand yet but I plan to try it. I went to the store to get a jacket and they didnt have my size, the clerk said call customer service and you can order it with your card online. I called customer service and the first lady said I couldnt order online with a store card. So I called another store to see if they had my size and they said order it online with the store card. Sooooo another round of calls and transferred several times and different answers each transfer and they told me to go to the store. I was just hoping someone here had had some experience with it.
Sorry Op, sounds like a run around!!
I had a store card last year but I closed it because it would NOT work online! Kinda silly, but my Pep Boys card is the same way.

Thats so crazy!!!! I was afraid that would be the case but all of the other cards that I have can be used online. I live over an hour away from the store and honestly wouldnt make a special trip to buy anything. I got the jacket that I wanted at another online store for $90 less than what they had it for.
yeah, after I got the card and tried to shop for some bargains, I realized how expensive GM really was. Another lesson learned for me!
