I just got a Discover invitation in the mail, and am heading to the recycling bin with it! DH revenge applied for me to make up for them rejecting me last May. What a difference a year makes!
Hi gardeners! I'm here, ready to watch what happens as I let my accounts age. I have two inquiries that will become a year old later this month, so I know they won't factor into my score any longer. I'm anxious to watch my scores rise from just tending to my accounts for the next 6 months at least! During this time I'll be expecting my credit steps increase which should come in Oct and hopefully an auto increase on my Freedom although I hear they are rare. I am able to celebrate getting a $300 auto increase on my secured Cap1 last week after my 6th statement cut. I don't even use that card anymore really but thanks to the knowledge here it has served it's purpose. I'll have my cool and refreshing adult beverage now

I dont know what to post but since im gardening now and itll be the 3 month mark tomorrow I figured I may as well share 
Its boring not apping for new cards but I came to the realization a few months ago, there really are no more cards for me out there =/ Atleast not with better benefits I could use. Although I did app and try for a CC with the CU I just signed up with(I dont think I could get lower apr anywhere without a promotional, they are at 9.25), they denied of course. (I figured they would but wanted to try anway because if I didnt get it now, I cant app for over a year) It was a SP though so still gardening! Figuring by the rules im still considered gardening because no HP? I dunno, either way, no Hps for 3 months so far! next year by may ill have 0 inqs in the past year, so should get a little score bump before appin for the house!
HeavenlyFlower, just want to let you know that I am going to search for every one of your messages concerning your leasing the car. Don't know why I didn't copy and paste your thoughts/tips/ideas into a Word document as you went through your steps. Just didn't think about it until about 30 minutes ago. Did you make any posts anywhere other than in the Garden. Wish there was an easy way to search but I don't know of one. Just wanted to let you know.
