The fire is banking itself. Mesquite is only good for BBQing, and the bark and small branches are ok in the fireplace. Not great, just ok.
We've been seeing mealy moths in the house and couldn't figure out where they were coming from. (The DH swore he checked the pantry!) Yeah, I found a bag of infested rice. We had to trash anything in the pantry that wasn't sealed in a bag or container. I'm pretty pissed about it - I hate wasting food! I'm hoping we got all the food sources and just need to kill the adults we find.
