I started out in college the mid-80s with the idea of going into law. I left school midway through my sophomore year and returned in 2010 to wrap up my degree, which included 17 credits in the final semester, six of which were in German, the first six credits of which I took in the mid-80s. I was amazed at how much grammar had changed in the language in a quarter-century, especially with regards to the past tense. From there, I was offered a chance to go for my Master's Degree, even though it was a three hour commute each way. In the end, however, I didn't find marketing, but rather it found me. I can't do event planning to save myself, but I can handle logistics before and analysis after the events.
