TY, Drift... on an almost related note, I'm about a week away from a Silver Spade.  Yay me!  Smiley Happy

Re: Garden Club - July 2016

Funny, now that I'm gardening, I'm getting all the preapprovals I used to want -- nothing fancy, just all the Visa/MC SCTs from Comenity that I used to try so hard to get.

Even if I weren't in the garden, I probably wouldn't bite at this point, just funny how they're popping up now.

So 2 days before my 30 day mark in the garden, I prematurely fell out. I'm mad at myself! I'm not even sure that what I did was even worth it. Can't really assess it right now. (Feel free to read my most recent post to see exactly what I did). On a good note, I'm glad that Monday starts a new month. I'll have a chance to reflect on July and look at the progress I've made in spite of my potential mistake.  I can do this!

Wow, I missed a lot while I was on vacation. Welcome to all the mew members.

Lleshia, next time you find yourself on the credit ledge, be sure to come to the garden before you jump. We are happy to give a hand pulling you back in. Smiley Happy

I'm back home, but still technically on vacation until Wednesday. I'm loving the time to recover before I return to work. New Orleans was fantastic but I don't want to take more than 5 steps in a row until I go back to work.

OMG! That's exactly what it felt like...I was on a ledge. I literally filled out the app and made it to the very end, erased and repeated THREE times before I actually hit the submit button. I don't think I've ever been so nervous to push the submit button on an app before until I dived heavily into this forum. Smiley Very Happy  It's fun though and I'm feeling a lot better. DH said I was beating myself up too much. He's right...I can't change what's already done. Still waiting to see whether or not I wasted a HP.  Better days and more progress is ahead. Thanks for all of your help!

I guess I'll start posting in garden club threads since that's where I am right now.

My Discover credit limit goal is $5,000, with APR reduction from 20% to 11%.

My Empower FCU credit limit goal is $5,000 with a transfer to WMC, with APR reduction to 8.49%.

My Citi Double Cash credit limit goal is $2,500 with a transfer to WEMC.

Amazon Prime Store Card credit limit from $800 >> $2000.

Next goal is to get AMEX PRG to complete my portfolio.

Welcome Mountaindewvoltage!

Lleshia, your DH is right, stop beating yourself up.  Time, along with current responsible use of credit, really does cure all when it comes to credit.

Good morning boys and girls.

Not so good for me on the credit front.  Another CLD.  Another card that wasn't maxed now is.

No negatives on any of my CR's, no late payments ever, just high utilization that is steadily declining.  Discover CLD'd me a few weeks ago, Cabelas just CLD'd me.  Not terribly much that I can do about it, but this elephant has a LONG memory....

Sorry to hear that. You have some cards that you have paid off without any AA correct? I guess you know who you will be sticking with when the dust settles.
