Congrats cheddar! Very nice perks, I never thought CITI would be this generous.

Thanks, fused!  It was much more than I was expecting, that's for sure.

Nope, not even close, I'm sure.  I'm not even going to bug them about CLI on activation because, honestly, $11K is likely much more than I'll use at any given time on this card, and it doesn't report a limit anyway, so it's not like I can impress any other lenders with it.

Thanks to both Cheddar and Imducky for clearing up the Crown Room mystery for me - sounded like  you were talking about an airport lounge but wasn't sure if it was that or some sort of super-exclusive restaurant or club Smiley Happy  Sorry for the digression - good of you both to explain.

Congrats again, Cheddar!!  Smiley Happy

I'm curious, what exactly is meant by the ceiling of available credit? Does it mean that you have so much available credit that no lender will issue more?

Sorry, I should explain this. Not bragging, just making a point which is rarely discussed in the fora. Although my wife (notice I'm not saying dear wife, she made me mad...LOL) and I make good money, we have reached the max amount of credit to be extended to us by our current creditors and any potential new ones unless we provide a significant amount of financial information. I suspected this to be the case for some months now and CITI, BoA/FIA and Amex confirmed it recently with my telephone conversations with them.

Interesting. Any way you can put it in terms as ratio to HHI maybe? Like 3 times HHI in available credit?

I think I might be getting close myself.

Congrats on the super approval on the giant big-boy Citi card!  You have now lost your room at the Concord User Center.  Please remove your belongings and leave at once.  We don't like your 'kind' here.
