Getting "OK"s for non usage on CCs?

For example I use my credit card each month charging and typically paying in full but not always especially if I have a 0% offer going on. When the account gets updated to the CRAs I get one and then nice green "OK" boxes for the month. Now let's say I don't use the card for the next three months how will the payment history be reflected to the CRAs? Will I still get three nice green "OK" boxes for the month where I did not use the card. This is assuming I had a zero balance and made no payment as well. Or will I get blanks or "unknown" or something else? Typically I charge something on every card, at least a dollar, and pay it off to show activity and to get that green box. Now, I just want to know if I could maybe get them off here or there and still get the green box. any insight into this matter would be appreciated, thank you for your time. Siri, thanks for typing it Smiley Happy

It's been my experience that if a CC company reports to the CBs even without a balance on your card, you'll recieve a green ok box. It will also show your balance for that month and will report "0" if there is no balance.  At least this is how it has been reported for me with CK.

For both my BofA cards if it don't show a balance on any month it reports as ND (No Data) Ugh

Do you think the "ND" affect your score at all? So I guess I better keep buying a dollar a month with each card?

Maybe we can set up a thread to find out which cards will still report an OK for no usage and no payment for a specific month.

ND doesn't count against you.  Positive payments don't figure into scores, it is what is expected.  You get credit for the AAoA but that's it.
