I just shared this perk with some family member, thought I'd pass on what I've learned.
I tried to find no fee cards that reimburse this perk. The cost is $120
This card,
And this card,
https://www.usbank.com/credit-cards/altitude-connect-visa-signature-credit-card.html
Cover $100.
The only no fee (with no fee checking) card I found was this one,
https://www.penfed.org/credit-cards/pathfinder-rewards-visa
Not a bad card, but the ba$t@rds turned me down with an 850 score.
I settled with this card,
https://www.navyfederal.org/loans-cards/credit-cards/flagship-visa-signature.html
Flagship has a $49 af, but also pays $139 for prime.
A surprise bonus is, flagship also reimbursed authorized users for GE/TSA prepass and they allow up to 4 AUs, no fee.
Finally, I found there is no GE/TSA PP fee for those under 18.
So, I was not only able to cover myself and p2, I was also able to include all my five grandchildren!

The flagship also has a $350-$400 spend bonus.
$350 on web page and I get monthly $400 offers email & USPS.
I think you got the best card of the list, not like you had to settle for second best.
They give good CL's, AU cards have different card numbers and
credit card payments are push - "billpay" friendly.
I think you will like the "Flagship".
The sub was great. I had to do a little MS to meet the spend. I like navy in general. They are generous with clis, even without a lot of spend. I was using it as a 2% catchall, now I have the 3% aven.

What is this? Is that SUB or routine offers?

The sub is $350 for $3500 spend in 3 months.
I think mine was $400 for $4000 spend, and $350 just for joining the CU and opening a credit card. I have not seen either of these offers since Fall of 2024 when I received them.

I got the Navy membership and was planning ahead for a possible SSL.
Next year all my loan history hits 10 years.
If scores get to low, maybe go for an SSL.
Had $10 in savings and another $10 in free checking.
Just waiting to see how my scores change.
After a few months, I started getting regular emails and USPS offers
for the Flagship with an elevated spend bonus, also with elevated spend.
($400 for 4k). This was targeted advertising for me to jump on the flagship.
Have received at least 5 of these over the last 10 months.
My guess targeted offer's for members that do not jump on a card first few months
after becoming a member ??
All the advertising worked, I just got the card last week. ![]()

Fidelity Rewards Visa Signature Card recently gave me the TSA Pre-Check fee back as points added to my rewards account.
Got'ta love it!
Here is another card for consideration it has annual fee of $95.00. The fee can be offset with Walmart+ membership. The credit union is not geofenced also no Chex Systems.

Your just lucky! Pelicans are no longer on the "endangered species" list as of 2009. Just sayin' ... ![]()
The credit union has many many benefits and rates that are quite competitive. Surprised it is not geo-fenced?
