I suppose I should point out nfcu had some good cards, since everyone loves navy. If you're eligible to join. I just got their flagship card, violating my general rule against fee cards. It's $49, but comes with free prime. Also, a $400 sub for $3500 spend. I guess it's sort of a premium card.

Expensive if you don't use it enough to get value out of it. Most cards that are considered "premium" will have an annual fee. You have to do the math to determine if you will get enough rewards, points, coupons, or services from this card to justify the fee. Some of them waive the annual fee for the first year, and many offer sign-up bonuses that more than cover the fee. That gives you a year to decide if the card is valuable to you or if you should downgrade or cancel it.
I want to clarify that the NFCU flagship is a good card but you will most likely not be approved for it in your situation, especially not as your first NFCU product most likely

Looks like the free Prime is only good for the first year you have the card. Is that correct?
