Took way too long to pull the trigger on kicking Credit One to the curb, but everytime I have tried in the past, they have waived the annual fee to keep me. Called this morning and told them no more talking me out of it, and the deed is done.
I will say that they did exactly what I had hoped they would, which was to help me rebuild my credit. Partly because of them, I am in far better shape than I was a few years ago, and no longer have to worry about being approved for anything.
Way to go! Congratulations!
Congratulations, ds3! It's a great feeling to unload CreditOne, and now you can laugh at their "we want you back" offers!
Congratulations, OP!

Good on you for dumping Credit One. Just remember to dodge their calls---the poor thing could be desperate.

You must be feeling like a million bucks!!! Congratulations on kicking that vermin to the curb!
Congrats! I just got rid of my $200 OpenSky secured card today!
