It looked suspicious. Listed the last digits of my PRG. It said that I could click the link in the email or get the important message in the secured message center. One of my peeves about amex is that there IS NO message center, so...yeah, that was sort of a tell that it was fake. I thought maybe I'd missed it, but I called Amex and it was NOT from them. They had me forward it to them. The question that she asked me to confirm a few times was whether it had my name at all. It did not, other than my email. It had the last digits of my card, but was not personalized at all other than that. Sneaky %!&^!&*& even have the nerve to put the blurb at the bottom of it about phishing.
