I have both cards, too and I did know they were all sterling because I got this message on my approval page

 Your open to buy with us may be reduced by the amount of credit purchases you make at other retail jewelers that are affiliated with us. To request the names of the other retail jewelers that are affiliated with us, please call our Credit Customer Service department.

Does this mean what I think? Basically, the two cards share the $1500 cl?

Yes. I just got a Kay's $3,000 account and they denied my Jareds and JB Robinson because they were unable to verify my employment. I called them and they called my work and gave me the Kay's then I asked them about Jareds and they gave me that as well. Shared CL though, but at least they report separate.

Congrats on the cards. Kays is great with cli and very generous. For being overpriced if you have a store near you go in when your ready to buy something and ask for a lower price and they try hard to work with you. Got my wife diamond earrings and got them for $400 less then asking price with $600 in santa checks(think that's what there called)for future purchase.

Do you have to ask for CLI or is it automatic?  How soon can you get one?
