Yo have the best program.... program B is restricted to a 750.00 limit I believe and the interest rate is higher. What limit did you get? CONGRATS!!!!

They approved me for $2300. That totally surprised me because my BB Mastercard CL is $300 and I have never used it.WBLAKE
Did the ame thing to me. App forMC got 500.00 limit (whihc of course wasn't enough for my purchase) so had to app for store. Funny though, glad it happened now. Had no idea of the deals you could get with store card only. MC is gone as of March
Better explain this a little more. I started rebuilding credit in 03, at the time, I got HHB MC CB&T (employee). Didn't know much about credit so the only other thng I app'd for was WalMart with a 190.00 limit. In 06 HHB started irritating me with all the horror stories you hear. Still had no idea about credit so I started researching and learned about uti..etc. Paid off HHB and closed. App'd Target, WaMu and Juniper in June and July of 06. After a year, Junny didn't live up to the hype, so they were closed. Target was generous but since I didn't shop there often combined with the interest rate, it was slated to clsoe but was upgrade to Visa. Held on to these cards through 06 into 07. End of 06 I app'd CapOne cause I still felt credit unworthy, but they have been generous with the CLIs for their rep and the 1.99% BT was too good to pass up.
Started getting c'mons fron HSBC and the 2% flat cash was one I could not refuse. Business expenses gave way to need for electronic store cards. App CC but was VERY unhappy with the system and returned it. Shopped around at BB and had a workhorse for a fair price with special financing appd but was approved for the MC with too low a limit so got the store. Had decent limits on the WaMu and HSBC but wanted a relationship with a CU so got PenFed (ok got it and the sig loan because its all you can eat for one inq )
Have no idea why I app'd Discover. It was just a litmus test I wanted to pass after climbing out of credit heck and I am haapy to say they accepted me. Will be real good to them and WaMu.
When you're rebuilding the T&Cs of any approval are going to be a toss up. I have tried to give any card at least a year to prove its worth. The ones that are slated to be closed are slated to do so on or around their anniversary. Target in June, BBMC in March. Cp one reads slated to close but as long as they continue to prove thier worth, they will stay in my wallet.
Store cards are pretty self explanatory, I use those for things these stores sell that I can find no where else and the special bonuses they give to cardholders. My makeup, perfume and Diva-kid's clothes.
