Spoke to an analyst about my account today and asked about the sell to Cap one. She said today she is an HSBC employee. Soon (no date) she will be a Capital One employee. She says ALL HSBC cards in th U.S were sold to Capital One including bank cards like orchard and store branded cards such as Best Buy, Sears solutions, Discover rewards by HSBC,etc. Also she said Chase is no longer with best buy, its HSBC only right now.
it means we never gonna have credit limit increase

I like my CapitalOne card - HSBC has always seemed a little shady to me in the sense that we needed to allow 2-3 business days on online payments, etc. This may have changed, but I stopped using my HSBC cards.
