Re: HSBC

I checked all 3 of my reports from each CRA & after disputing with all 3 about HSBC, the accounts were finally updated as of 5/6/10. I seriously doubt they would have gotten around to it if it wasn't disputed.I place the blame on HSBC because all my other accounts have been reported & updated just as they always are each month. HSBC was the only CCC that wasn't updated so, I can't blame the CRA's. Anyway, it's all squared now !! You might have to dispute them as I did to get some action.

Re: HSBC

How long after your dispute did it take for them to update?

Re: HSBC

it wasn't even 1 week to get the results. I spoke to the CRA's personally on the phone & explained the situation & they said they would get right on it ( which they did )

Re: HSBC

According to HSBC, they update the CRA with the last statement's balance at the end of the month. Unfortunately, as with you, the last time they updated my report was in February 2010. I too have submitted an online dispute with EQ;I will let you know when it's updated.

HSBC will say anything to keep from facing up to their mistake.

Re: HSBC

They didn't update this month for me so I'm sock drawering them and just running a small monthly bill with them. I hear sometimes they skip a month when reporting so I really don't want to be caught in an infavorable util situation and have to wait months for it to get fixed if I don't dispute. I'm just using them to rebuild, so I'll use my USAA card instead since I know they update religiously on the same date.

Re: HSBC

Likewise, except mine were updated as of 05/2010 since I disputed the balance with all 3 CRAs.
